This piece feels like a memory of endless summer days—when the sun’s warmth seemed to linger forever, and the water shimmered like liquid light. The arc above holds a soft, golden promise, like the glow of the setting sun hinting at tomorrow’s possibilities. Beneath it, the depths ripple with life, a quiet reminder of the unseen energy that pulses through even the stillest moments. To me, it’s a celebration of those fleeting days where time feels suspended, and everything—light, water, and possibility—comes together in perfect harmony.
For now, this piece will be on display in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers Gallery at the Orange County Administration Center, from January 27 to June 4, 2025 (201 S. Rosalind Ave., Orlando, FL 32801). The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except holidays. If it calls to you, know it won’t be able to leave those public walls until after its time there ends on June 4.
